Welcoming Sergio Bragança to our London Office

It’s always great connecting with school owners in person, especially when they’re visiting from across the globe. We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Sergio Bragança, owner of English Next2U in Teresópolis, Rio de Janeiro, to our London office.
Sergio had dragged himself away from the stunning natural beauty of Teresópolis, and was on his first ever venture to Europe, packing a busy tour of several destinations into just two weeks. For the London leg of the trip, he had made it a priority to stop by for a chat with us at our Westminster Bridge Road office.
Sergio is, and always has been, a strong advocate of the Callan Method. His energy and enthusiasm are palpable, and this has clearly helped him build his successful business in Brazil. We were especially happy to hear that the necessary shift to online teaching during the pandemic actually turned out to be beneficial to his school, which now has a considerable number of online students.
Sergio speaks highly of the Student’s Grammar Workbooks, which the team at English Next2U routinely use alongside the Callan English course. He reports that teacher-led workbook sessions focusing on recently covered language areas definitely help his students consolidate and reinforce their learning.
It was a huge pleasure to meet Sergio, and wonderful to hear that English Next2U is in such good shape. Given his drive and positive nature, it’s hard to imagine it wouldn’t be!
As he was getting ready to go, Sergio happened to mention a couple of extra things he hoped to tick off his list before leaving London: finding somewhere to enjoy a good Full English Breakfast, and trying proper gravy with a meal (apparently, gravy isn’t really a thing in Brazil!). We did our best to point him in the right direction.
