Happy retirement to Alison!

After more than 40 glorious years working with the Callan Method, Alison Jones is starting her very well-earned retirement.

Ali originally joined Callan School London in Oxford Street as a teacher. She went on to become a senior teacher, a teacher trainer and then Deputy Principal (with Josie Syer as Principal). Following a reorganisation, Ali moved across into Callan Method Organisation, working with Gavin Best on providing teacher training and Accreditation assessment, and with Duncan McLeay on developing new Callan courses and content.

Through the years, many thousands of students and teachers all around the world have been lucky enough to learn from Ali, to benefit from her vast experience, and to enjoy the infectious energy and enthusiasm that she has always brought to the classroom.

As all who know her will agree, Ali is irreplaceable, so of course we are not letting her escape entirely! Although we’re going to try to let her enjoy her well-deserved retirement, Ali will continue to be part of Callan as our ambassador and advisor, and we hope she’ll be able to help out with some training courses from time to time as well.

Most of all we want to thank Ali for her immense contribution over all the years, for her constant professionalism and positivity. Happy retirement Ali, and happy travels!
